Hanover, Maryland (Arundel News Network) – An update from the Anne Arundel County Police Department just before 10:00 p.m that the victim that was driven to the local hospital was connected to the incident at the Arundel Mills Mall area. They urged that no further information is available at this time.
The Anne Arundel County Police have responded to the Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover for a reported shots fired at around 8:15 p.m. Their initial investigation found no shell casings or evidence of a shooting. Many residents at the mall reports contradicted the police.
About ten minutes later a person arrived at a local hospital with gun shot wounds. Detectives were at both locations conducting interviews and following up to leads.
Just after 9:00 p.m. County Police posted on Facebook that they believe that this was a targeted event and that interviews will be conducted throughout the evening. They are still fact searching and that no further updates this evening.
