Hanover, Maryland (Arundel News Network) – The Anne Arundel County Police has released an update related to the incident at Arundel Mills mall last night. The information does not really provide any more information than we knew last night.
On February 16, 2019 at approximately 7:45 a.m. Anne Arundel County Police Officers were dispatched to Entrance 3 area of Arundel Mills Mall for a reported shooting. Officers located several witnesses and obtained surveillance footage of the incident. While police were investigating the incident at the crime scene a male subject arrive at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower torso. The subject was the victim of the aforementioned shooting at Arundel Mills Mall and is in stable condition.
Detectives conducted interviews and collected evidence related tot he incident. A suspect was positively identified and is current wanted for attempted murder along with a host other accompanying related charges. This was a targeted incident and stemmed fro a verbal altercation between two groups of individuals previously unknown to each other.
