Police Beat February 18, 2019

The Anne Arundel County Police has released information regarding to two other calls since Friday.

On Sunday February 17 around 8:30 p.m. County law enforcement officers responded to the McDonalds located at 717 Nursery Road for an armed robbery. Two male suspects entered the business, displayed handguns and demanded money. The store employee complied and the suspects fled toward Nursery Road. Officers searched the area with assistance from a police K9 unit but were unable to locate the suspects. There were no injuries reported at the business.

The suspects are identified as:

  • Black Male 20-40 years old, Approximately 6’0″ tall, average build wearing dark clothing
  • Black Male 20-40 years old, Approximately 6’0″ tall, average build wearing dark clothing

Then this morning around 1:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to a shots fired call in the 5200 block of Patrick Henry Drive in Brooklyn Park. Two unknown male suspects fired several rounds at a victim’s residence. There were 4 occupants in the home at the time of the incident. A male occupant received minor injuries from shattered glass and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officers searched the area with assistance from a police K9 unit but again were unable to locate the suspects. There is no description of the suspect or suspects in this case.
