Orioles release lineup for Opening Day

New York, New York (Arundel News Network) – Orioles skipper Brandon Hyde announced who he will have in the opening day lineup against division rival the New York Yankees and going with their best defensive outfield options.

Cedric Mullins – CF
Dwight Smith Jr – LF
Jonathan Villar – 2B
Trey Mancini – DH
Rio Ruiz – 3B
Joey Rickard – RF
Chris Davis – 1B
Jesus Surcre – C
Richie Martin – SS

Chris Davis is batting seventh (7th) after starting Opening Day in 2018. Andrew Cashner will start for the Orioles on the mound.

For the Yankees their opening day line-up will look like the following:

Brett Gardner – CF
Aaron Judge – RF
Giancarlo Stanton – LF
Luke Voit – DH
Miguel Andujar – 3B
Gary Sanchez – C
Greg Bird – 1B
GLeyber Torres – 2B
Troy Tulowitzki – SS

The Yankees will send Masahiro Tanaka to the mound. Every opening day game that he has started in for the Yankees they have lost. He went 0-2 with a 9.49 ERA in those starts.
