LGBTQ+ Liaison Announced

Millersville, Maryland (ANN) – The Anne Arundel County Police have announced a new position. Corporal Robert Koch has been named the Department’s LGBTQ+ Liaison. Cpl. Koch joined the department in October 2012 and is currently assigned to the Bureau of Patrol for Eastern District. The Anne Arundel County Police are committed to serving all members of the community with the utmost respect and in the justest manner.

“As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I feel honored and excited to be the LGBTQ+ Liaison for the Anne Arundel County Police Department. As liaison, my responsibilities will be responding to the questions/concerns of the citizens, attending community functions, acquiring relevant training for officers, recruiting new officers, and establishing a support system. The top priority is to make sure the LGBTQ+ community and the public, in general, know that the police department is here to protect and serve all residents without judgment or prejudice.” Cpl. Robert Koch

Meanwhile, Annapolis public schools, among other districts, continue to face a growing gang problem.

Good to know they have the resources to combat increasing numbers of violent actors in the county and also have the manpower for a feel-good puff post that has little to do with police work.

The best treatment you can give the LGBTQRSTUV123ABC crowd’s pathological attention-seeking behavior is simply the respect we all should be given by our public servants— indifference to our race, creed, and private behaviors.
