Shots Fired in Laurel

Laurel, MD (ANN) – The Anne Arundel County Police responded to the area of the Garden Inn in Laurel at 7:30 p.m. on May 15 for a call of a stolen auto and shots fired. The victim who was 31-years-old reported taht he left his 2005 gray Mitsubshi Galant running in the parking lot of the Garden Inn when 4 juvenile suspects approached the vehicle. One of the juveniles entered the vehicle and fled the scene going westbound on Laurel Fort Meade road.

The other three suspects got into an altercation with an unidentified suspect occupying a red unknown make vehicle. One suspected discharged several rounds toward the red vehicle which fled the area. One round struck the rear passenger window of a Toyota Forerunner which had been traveling westbound on Laurel Fort Meade Road.

Officers have been unsuccessful in locating the stolen vehicle, the red vehicle and the four suspects. No injuries were reported.

The suspects have been identified as two black males and two black female, all between 15-17 years old.
